Cooking with Kate


Kate loves to share her passion for tasty healthy food along with giving out some nutritional advice.


Group sessions:

The class will consist of a short 15-minute talk about the day’s chosen aspect of health, to be followed by cooking demonstrations of a minimum of 4 recipes supporting the topic, e.g. immunity, balancing hormones, gluten/dairy free.

  • Classes are for the general public; no prior knowledge of nutrition is needed.
  • Only fresh ingredients are used, organic wherever possible.
  • All classes are cooking demonstrations. As Kate prepares each dish she will talk about the ingredients and their therapeutic actions and benefits.
  • Everyone will get to taste all of the dishes cooked on the day.  There will also be some healthy snacks on arrival and herbal teas available.  No one will leave hungry!
  • All recipes and a handout on that day’s topic will be provided for you to make notes on and take home.

One to One sessions:

Kate can come to your home to teach one-on-one personalised cooking, specifically for your nutritional requirements or teach in small groups for a hands-on cooking experience.  For larger groups she can do demonstrations.  

These make great alternative birthday ideas or hen party ideas!  Healthy cocktails and their recipes can be added in to make it a more 'special' occasion.


Kate also teaches at the College of Naturopathic Medicine to classes of 25, small classes of up to 8 people at  Divertimenti cooking school and at other venues in and around Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset. 


These cooking classes are designed for everyone, whether you have some knowledge of nutrition, or you are just starting to understand how food and diet are the basis for a long and healthy life.
